TiviMate is the most popular IPTV player for Amazon Fire TV devices because of its fast, cable-style TV guide. It is not in the Amazon Appstore, so you install it with the free Downloader app. The whole process takes about 5 minutes.
What you need
- An Amazon Fire TV Stick, Fire TV Stick 4K / 4K Max or Fire TV Cube
- An internet connection (15 Mbps+ for HD, 25 Mbps+ for 4K)
- Your IPTV login: server URL, username and password (Xtream Codes) or an M3U link. RightIPTV customers receive these on WhatsApp.
Step 1: Enable apps from unknown sources
- From the Fire TV home screen, open Settings → My Fire TV.
- If you do not see Developer Options, go to About, select your device name and press the select button 7 times until it says you are a developer.
- Open Developer Options → Install unknown apps (you will turn this on for Downloader in step 2).
Step 2: Install Downloader
- Use the search icon on the home screen and search for Downloader.
- Install the orange Downloader app by AFTVnews.
- Back in Developer Options → Install unknown apps, switch Downloader to ON.
Step 3: Download and install TiviMate
- Open Downloader and allow it to access files if asked.
- In the URL box, enter the official TiviMate download address published on TiviMate’s website (or the code we send you on WhatsApp), then press Go.
- When the download finishes, choose Install, then Done.
- Delete the installation file when Downloader asks, to save space.
Safety tip: only download TiviMate from its official source. Modified APKs from unknown websites can contain malware.
Step 4: Add your IPTV playlist
- Open TiviMate and select Add playlist.
- Choose Xtream Codes (recommended) or M3U playlist.
- Enter the server address, username and password exactly as provided, then press Next.
- TiviMate loads your channels, TV guide (EPG) and movies. This can take a minute the first time.
Step 5: Optimize TiviMate for the best picture
- Settings → Playback → Decoder: try Hardware first; switch to Software if a channel stutters.
- Settings → EPG: set the guide to update every 12 hours.
- Hide channel groups you don’t watch to make the guide faster.
- Add favourites with a long press on the select button.
TiviMate Premium: is it worth it?
The free version of TiviMate works for basic viewing. TiviMate Premium (a paid upgrade bought through the TiviMate Companion app on an Android phone) adds multiple playlists, catch-up, recording, favourites management and more. Most daily IPTV users find it worth it.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Fix |

| “Unknown apps” option missing | Enable Developer Options first (step 1). |
| Login error | Check the server URL includes http:// and the port, and that there are no extra spaces. |
| Guide (EPG) empty | Settings → EPG → Update EPG, then wait a few minutes. |
| Buffering | Use 5 GHz Wi-Fi or an Ethernet adapter, restart your router, try the other decoder. |
| Firestick slow | Clear cache in Settings → Applications and uninstall unused apps. |
